Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor premises: Make frequent patrols to guard against unauthorized access, vandalism, theft, or other security threats.
  • Access control: Verify documentations, check permits, and ensure only lawful individuals enter limited areas.
  • Surveillance: Use security cameras, alarms, and other 24-hour care systems to detect doubtful activities.
  • Incident response: React to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, or unofficial entry.
  • De-escalation: Switch fights calmly and skillfully, following company plans and legal rules.

Requirements & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Previous security experience is preferred but not always necessary.
Good observing and problem-solving abilities.
Effective written and oral communication.
Ability to stay calm when under pressure and respond to emergencies.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods.
Ability to qualify for a background check and drug test.
State security guard license (where required in your area).
