Key Responsibilities:
Cleanliness & Sanitation:
Use industrial dishwashers to wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment or do it by hand.
Follow a schedule for sanitation of all surfaces, floors and trash areas to health/safety protocols
Empty trash cans and steward waste disposal recycling/composting if applicable.
Food Prep Support:
Help cooks with simple tasks: vegetable peeling, portioning, throwing trays.
Stock kitchens, buffets and dining areas (e.g. plates, napkins, condiments)
Prep tables and chairs as well as service stations in advance of meal times.
Dining Area Maintenance:
Clear tables within 10 minutes of each guest leaving.
Keep all dining spaces neat and nice at all times
Collaborate or work with kitchen staff, servers and managers as needed to improve run.
Notify maintenance of any equipment problems or issues
